This book is great for creating your own scenes. It has awesome little designs that can be used alone or can be used to create your own scenes that are one of a kind. I've only done 2 of the patterns (from the Spaced Out section) so far but I love the book. I'd recommend it to a beginner or someone more advanced in cross stitching. I've shared a few photos of the patterns so people can have an idea of what they're buying.

I love cross stitch. I recently got back in to it and so far have not found many good books that I like on cross stitch. I am in my 20's so I am not looking for floral, cutsie, or older patterns. Now I do like this book because of the variety and plan on putting them on some of my cases and jeans but they are not big patterns. they are all about 2 to 3 inches max (except one of a dinosaur theme) you could make a scenes out of the small patterns he has. I bought this book on a whim and so far I like it. These patterns are also all full cross stitches no half stitches or outlining so this book is ideal for a beginner.Example of whats in the book:Dinosaurs,Robots, Monsters, Spacemen, Insects, Skulls, Safari theme, Electronics theme, Tiger, Make up.Book also gives details on the many types of things you can applique and how to applique with cross stitch.Only reason I gave for stars is because these are all easy cross stitch patterns none are hard or detailed. Was look for something more challenging I guess. Overall a great book. I plan on using and keeping in my book shelf.

I'm a nut for tiny cross stitch patterns, something I can sit down and do in one sitting, and this book doesn't fail to provide. Not full of cute little flowers and butterflies, I can now quickly stitch dinos, robots, rocket ships and monsters galore!I also love the project ideas. Stitching on peg board would have NEVER occurred to me before, and now I'm looking for a valid reason to try it for myself.

I enjoy hobbies such as cross stitch, but I prefer to create more avantgarde and non-girly pieces. This book has numerous smaller, non-traditional designs, as well as the basic instructions for any beginner. Someone with more experience will find inspiring ideas to add into their next design.

Disappointed with this book - not sure if I'm going to keep it or return.. Book is 92 pages and the recipes don't start until page 42. First 41 pages is just the writers ideas of how to make the plan (WW) work. Example; "give your self a cheat day" or "add some exercise" Doh! Yes, I know that - I attend WW weekly and I get ideas and stay encouraged with my group.. I was hoping for MORE recipe ideas etc.Also found some cooking errors - one of the recipes (Pressure cooker red beans and rice) - Ready in 8 Hours, 45 mins? Seems a little off don't you think....

It's a little bit misleading to call this a "cookbook", when it's really an "all about Weight Watchers, including some recipes for your hotpot. The first 40 pages is stuff about the program only; and addresses getting started with weight watchers, benefits and kinds of exercise, coping with eating out, health benefits to eating well and losing weight, what meetings are like, etc. It's a lot of info you can get on line for free, and the recipes are an afterthought. It wasn't expensive, but it's less of a "cookbook" than I thought it would be. There's only about 50 recipes.

I liked the layout of the recipes with the calories included for each recipe, the ingredients listed, the clear, easy concise directions, and the helpful hints or cooking tips included by the author. I also like the vegetarian recipes as well. I am new to the InstaPot. I have used electric pressure cookers, so this has helped me learn my new IinstaPot. I can’t wait to work my way through more of these recipies! Thank you

Sweet, simple prompts. This was a gift from adults to our parents, but would definitely be appropriate for children, and I think kids as young as three or four could complete it with help.

Very cute book. My son filled it out for fathers day. It is easy to read and fill out for I would say ages 6 and up. It has a lot of pages. Really is a cute keepsake and great price.

It was cute and all, but I wish there was a bit more variation in the questions to answer. It was a bit redundant after about 10 of them.

Bought for my son to give it to his dad for Father's day. It was a great surprise and tribute.

You can't expect lengthy answers from all kids though so take 'em for what they are and enjoy!

Like another 1-star reviewer, I bought this book thinking the soups would be low calorie yet full of flavor. That certainly wasn't the case.I made two of the soups, both of which were terrible. They were thin, watery, and flavorless -- and these weren't broth-based recipes that are tended to be thin. There are very few spices called for, and spices are essential for flavor when one is cutting out fat. I can't get rid of this book fast enough.It's not hard to take a good soup recipe and tweak it to reduce fat and calories. I suggest you do that and give this gimmicky book the swerve.

This is truly one of the most useful cookbooks I own! The recipes are short and uncomplicated, easy to make with generally easy to obtain ingredients -- often in interesting combinations that I would never have thought of -- and the ones I've made (and I've made a lot of them) freeze beautifully! My diet is plant-based, whole food, and most of these recipes are as well suited for this. The ones that are not can be made with acceptable plant-based substitutions. I have bought copies from alternative sellers (new and used) for gifts -- and I wish it were back in print again!

I've tried three of these recipes so far and they all turned out very good. Their preparations were simple and quick, and clean-up was easy. And, so good for you. My only complaint is that so many if the recipes involve a blender. If you don't own a blender or food processor, you need to get one for those fine, creamy soup recipes. I would also have liked to have seen more recipes using healthy cuts of pork and beef. Most of those that used meat were chiken soups. A few call for fish, and I would like to have seen more.

Truly a remarkable book that I've used for many years and now have on my Kindle for ready reference.The recipes are easy, nourishing, healthful and freeze well for later reheating.It gets me to use many veggies I probably would not have thought of using together, and the results are delicious!It's a book I use over and over again -- I wish it were back in print!

This is an awesome cookbook. If you are looking to lose weight and/or eat healthier...these soup recipes can indeed "save you". My husband has lost 28 pounds in the past few months by working out and having one of these great soups with salad almost every night!

There are a lot of different soup recipes which was exactly what I was after. Even better, they are simple and no nonsense. A good source for. New soup ideas.

This book has the most amazing soups, and surprisingly easy to follow recipes! Since so many canned soups or powdered soup mixes contain so much sodium and preservatives, I now prefer to make my own soup and freeze it in 8 to10 ounce containers for individual servings. The recipes in this book make healthy, low cost soups that are delicious! You may never go back to bland tasting canned soups again.

Great recipes, some kinda weird I would never make (dessert soup?) but over all good recipes, simple easy with not a ton of ingredients
