I have become a fan of the Gunsmith series since the Longarm series stopped publishing new stories. I purchased this 184 page adult western volume Dead End Pass: The Gunsmith #272 by J. R. Roberts) for a bargain price on Amazon.This western tale begins with Clint Adams, known far and wide as the gunsmith, receiving news of his old buddy, Frank Zeller being shot and robbed. After days of hard riding he finally comes to the town of Green Leaf, Arizona. He hoped his old friend was still alive because from what he had read in the papers of both men having been shot numerous times.Fortunately, Frank Zeller was still alive in the local hospital and Clint was happy his friend was recovering. After a short conversation the gunsmith decided to investigate why his friend was shot for a shipment of wood. I never give away too much information when reviewing a novel, but if you are a gunsmith fan you may want to check out this adult western tale.Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J.
